How to Use Task Timing in the Chomp App
Staying on top of your daily food safety tasks has never been easier with Chomp App’s task timing feature. Whether it’s morning prep, afternoon checks, or late-night closing duties, Chomp keeps you organised and compliant. Here’s how it works!
Understanding Task Timing
Chomp categorises daily tasks into three time slots:
- Morning Tasks: Between 5 AM and 12 Noon
- Afternoon Tasks: Between 12 Noon and 6 PM
- Evening Tasks: Between 6 PM and 5 AM (the following day)
By completing tasks within these time frames, you ensure your food safety logs stay up to date and compliant.
Task Colours – What They Mean
To keep things crystal clear, Chomp uses a colour-coded system for tasks:
- Green – Your To-Do tasks. These are tasks that need to be completed within the current timeframe.
- Orange – Overdue tasks. These should have been done already, so get them sorted ASAP!
- Blue – Not a timed task. These tasks don’t have a strict deadline but should still be completed as needed.
Making the Most of Task Timing
- Check your Chomp app regularly to stay on top of your tasks.
- Prioritise green tasks first (unless you have an orange) to stay ahead and avoid overdue tasks piling up.
- If you see orange, act fast! Overdue tasks mean you're at risk of non-compliance.
- Use blue tasks as a guide to complete essential but non-urgent duties without the pressure of a deadline.
By understanding Chomp’s task timing system, you can streamline your workflow, keep food safety standards high, and avoid unnecessary stress. Stay green, stay compliant, and keep chomping!
