We’ve added a handy new feature to your Kitchen App that allows you to upload and view important documents such as your Food Control Plan, SOPs, licences, and other internal documentation. This makes it easy for kitchen staff to access key information when they need it — including during audits.
How to add a document in ChompHQ

Log in to ChompHQ.

Got to the Venue page.

Scroll down to the Documents section.

Click Add new document.
- Upload your document by clicking the 'Click to choose...' section
- Enter a name in the Document Name field.
- Select the appropriate Document Type from the dropdown (Plan, Task, Staff, Licences, SOP)
- Choose whether you would like the document to be visible in the Kitchen App.
Tip: Auditors are increasingly asking kitchen staff to show where the Food Control Plan is located. We recommend making this document visible in the Kitchen App so staff can quickly access it when needed.
How view documents in the Kitchen App
Only documents marked as visible in the Kitchen App from ChompHQ will appear in the app.
- Open the Kitchen App.
- Click the hamburger menu (top left corner).
- Select Documents from the menu.
- Click on the document you wish to view.
- The document will display on screen, with an option to download if required.
