COVID-19 and Alert Level 2

During Alert Level 2 hospitality businesses can open.

In addition to focussing on the three S's; Seated, Separated and Single Servers, there are 5 key food safety requirements hospitality businesses should focus on during Alert Level 2:

  • Separating and preventing cross contamination
  • Washing hands
  • Cleaning and sanitising
  • Temperature control
  • Staff training 

We have created a guide for food businesses and a new daily checklist which includes some stricter hygiene and cleaning tasks. The daily checklist can be activated from your Chomp dashboard.
